The UKSRG has the following objectives:
- Promote a wider understanding of pedestrian slipping
- Identify and disseminate ways to reduce pedestrian slipping
- Promote the use of appropriate means of measuring and assessing slip resistance, particularly by means of the group’s guidelines
- Monitor and encourage research on pedestrian slipping
- Monitor developments in the field of pedestrian slipping
- Commission appropriate technical work

Responsibilities as a member
- Adhere while conducting Pendulum Test to the current Groups Guidelines
- Support any Slip, Trip and Falls prevention measurements in your area of expertise
- Don’t represent the Group, except if in an officially assigned role
- Always act in a responsible manner so as not to bring the Group into disrepute
The membership fee per year is:
Full member – £250 plus VAT
Second member – £125 plus VAT
Overseas member – £100 (no VAT)
